Dr. Kenneth L. Sleeper, MBA, PhD is Co-Founder, Managing Director, and Co-Portfolio Manager at Sierra Investment Management, the parent company of the Sierra Mutual Funds and Ocean Park Asset Management and has over 31 years of industry experience. He jointly oversees all aspects of the organization’s activities, including asset management, research, and client relationships. With an extensive background in statistical and computer applications, Ken previously focused on advanced risk management, developing and refining computerized techniques for reducing downside risk, before co-founding Sierra in 1987 with David C. Wright. Kenneth earned MBA and PhD degrees from the University of Southern California.

Marshall has been employed at Sierra Investment Management for more than 20 years. He has been promoted from Operations to Investment Analyst to Portfolio over time.

Ryan earned a BA in Economics, with honors, from Brock University in Ontario, Canada, and a M.Sc. in International Securities, Investment and Banking form the ICMA Centre, University of Reading, in the United Kingdom. He is a CFA Charterholder.

James St. Aubin is Chief Investment Officer at Ocean Park Asset Management. He joined Ocean Park in July 2022. He has oversight of all Investment Management department activities, in collaboration with Sierra Co-founders David Wright and Kenneth Sleeper. His career of more than 20 years includes leadership roles in asset allocation, manager research and portfolio construction. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University and is a CFA® and CAIA® Charterholder.
