Vesa Tontti is a portfolio manager and senior analyst for the U.S. Bank Loan team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. In this role he is responsible for analyzing and monitoring existing investments as well as identifying and screening new investment opportunities in the leveraged loan and high yield bond markets. He joined one of the Columbia Threadneedle Investments legacy firms in 2002 and has been a member of the investment community since 1997. Mr. Tontti was previously employed on the investment bank side of Salomon Smith Barney (part of Citigroup), where he was primarily responsible for structuring and executing leveraged financing solutions for early stage media and telecommunications companies globally. During his five years at Salomon, initially in London, UK and later in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Tontti completed financings in approximately 25 countries on four different continents. Prior to Citigroup, he was employed by Nokia in San Diego, California, as well as in Singapore. He received an M.S. in Business Strategy and International Business from the Institute of Industrial Management of Aalto University, Finland. Mr. DeYoung began his investment career in 2005 and earned a B.S. from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

Stanton Ray is the Head of the CLO platform and a senior portfolio manager for the U.S. Bank Loan team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, he joined the firm 2022. In this role, he is responsible for originating CLO’s, assisting in the development of the Bank Loan asset class, managing high yield loan and bond assets in structured vehicles and other investment products managed by the firm, and co-chairs the credit committee. Mr. Ray joined Columbia Threadneedle in 2022. Previously, Stanton worked at Carlson Capital LP, where he was a Partner and Head of Corporate Credit. He successfully launched Carlson’s CLO platform and managed a multi-billion-dollar credit portfolio that included bank loans, distressed debt and high yield bonds. He was also responsible for marketing, and overall strategic direction of the credit and CLO business. Stanton has been a member of the investment community since 2003. He received his B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from Texas A&M University as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago.
