Christopher Long

Chris Long founded Palmer Square Capital Management, an asset manager focused on corporate and structured credit, in June 2009. Currently, he serves as Chairman, CEO and Portfolio Manager. Since inception, Chris has been successful in building one of the premier credit investment firms in the world with an enviable client list that includes not only large institutions and family offices, but also RIAs, bank/trust, and broker-dealers. Prior to starting Palmer Square, Chris built a deep investment background at some of the top financial firms in the world including Morgan Stanley, TH Lee Putnam Ventures, and JPMorgan & Co. Chris’ breadth of investment experience includes hedge fund investing, private equity / venture capital, and finally, investment banking. He received an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and an AB degree in Economics cum laude from Princeton University. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, Chris proudly serves in many roles related to Princeton University including serving on the Alumni Council Executive Committee; Princeton Schools Committee; President Eisgruber’s Advisory Council and also as a member on the Capital Campaign Executive Steering Committee. Finally, Chris is a Princeton Varsity Club lifetime member. In his region of Kansas City, Chris serves as co-chair for the Greater Kansas City Region’s Alumni Schools Committee effort and is vice president of the regional association, PAA of Greater Kansas City. In addition, Chris is on the committee responsible for the KC Princeton Prize in Race Relations. Chris is also a Chair of Special Gifts (20th) – Harvard Business School and is a member of YPO and the Economic Club of Kansas City. Formerly, Chris was appointed by Kansas Governor Sam Brownback and unanimously approved by the Senate to two terms as a Trustee for the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS). Chris also formerly served as the Treasurer for the City of Mission Hills, KS. In addition, Chris formerly served as an Investment Committee member - Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art; Board Member - Children’s Mercy Hospital Foundation; Major Gifts Chair (15th) - Harvard Business School; Trustee- St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School; and Ingram's 250 - Most Powerful Business Leaders in Kansas City.
Angie Long

Ms. Long has been the Chief Investment Officer of Palmer Square since February 2011. She has key responsibilities for all investment-related activities with a particular focus on portfolio construction and risk management. Prior to joining Palmer Square, Ms. Long worked for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in New York from 1998 to 2011. There, she held a variety of management and trading roles, including Deputy Head of Credit Trading for North America, Head of High Yield Trading, and Head of Credit Derivatives Trading. She has been a trader and investor within many products and strategies including high yield bonds, high yield credit derivatives, distressed debt, capital structure arbitrage and structured credit. Among other career achievements, Ms. Long is credited with creating the High Yield Debt Index, the first liquid credit trading index. She was named a managing director of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. at age 29. She was responsible for building J.P. Morgan’s High Yield Credit Derivatives business and Credit Options business. She received an AB degree in Economics from Princeton University in 1997 and is a CFA® charterholder.
Taylor Moore

Taylor joined Palmer Square in 2013 and is a member of the firm's structured credit investing team, as well as head of structured credit trading. He is responsible for trading the firms CLO, CMBS, RMBS, and ABS investments.
Prior to joining Palmer Square, Taylor worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York. Taylor was an integral part of the firm’s North American foreign exchange business serving as Associate Product Controller. In particular, Taylor played a key role in all financial operations and management of JPMorgan’s Forward and Spot foreign exchange trading desks. He began his career at JPMorgan as part of the firm’s Corporate Development Program, a two-year selective leadership development program. Prior to JPMorgan Chase & Co., Taylor worked at Frontier Investment Bank, a boutique investment bank based out of Kansas City. Taylor received a BA in Economics from Cornell University. During his time at Cornell, Taylor was a member of four top ten NCAA Wrestling teams and traveled to Beijing in 2008 to represent team USA in the FILA Junior World Championships. He is also a CFA ® charterholder.
