John R. Friedl has been with Principal® since 1998. He earned a B.A. in Communications and History from the University of Washington and a master's degree in Finance from Seattle University. Mr. Friedl has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Michael Goosay is the CIO and Global Head of Fixed Income for Principal Asset Management, overseeing the fixed income platform and serving as a portfolio manager on Short-Term Income, Core, and Core Plus mandates. Goosay joined Principal Asset Management in 2023. Previously, he spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), where he most recently held the role of Global Head of Multi Sector, Long Duration, and LDI Portfolio Management and also served as a multi sector portfolio manager. Prior to GSAM, Goosay worked as a portfolio manager and fixed income trader at Drake Management, JPMorgan, and Prudential. Goosay earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Albright College and an MBA in finance from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Management.

Davis is a senior trader/research analyst for Principal Global Investors. He is responsible for trading mortgage-backed securities and developing investment strategies related to mortgages and derivatives. Davis joined the firm in 1993 as a servicing valuation director for Principal Residential Mortgage. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Iowa. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst esignation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Jeff Callahan has been with Principal® since 2006. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Wartburg College and an M.B.A. form the University of Iowa. Mr. Callahan has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
