Osman is global co-head of Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The global team of researchers and portfolio managers in QIS oversee a broad spectrum of quantitatively managed strategies, focusing on alpha generation within and across asset classes, efficient delivery of factor exposures, providing investors access to alternative investments with attractive liquidity profiles, and creating structured payoffs. In his role, he oversees all aspects of the team’s activities across investment research, portfolio management, trading and client strategy.
Previously, Osman was global co-head of Quantitative Equity (QE) within QIS. He first joined QE in 2005, and in 2009 became co-head of Japanese equity research and portfolio management. In 2011, he became head of US equity research and portfolio management and broadened his responsibilities to include all strategies managed by QE in 2013. Osman became global co-head of QE in 2020 and assumed his current role as global co-head of QIS in 2022.
Osman joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2003, was named managing director in 2011 and was named partner in 2022.
Osman earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Cornell University in 2003 and a graduate degree in Mathematics from Columbia University in 2008. He is a CFA charterholder.
Dennis Walsh

Dennis is global co-head of Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The global team of researchers and portfolio managers in QIS Equity Alpha oversee a broad spectrum of quantitatively managed strategies focusing on alpha generation within and across asset classes, efficient delivery of factor exposures, providing investors access to alternative investments with attractive liquidity profiles, and creating structured payoffs. In his role, he oversees all aspects of the team’s activities across investment research, portfolio management, trading and client strategy.
Prior to assuming his current role, Dennis was co-head of the Quantitative Equity Alpha team in QIS Equity Alpha. Previously, he was a senior portfolio manager and co-head of equity research and portfolio management within Equity Alpha. Before that, he was the portfolio manager for the team's Emerging Market equity strategies and a senior equity researcher. Dennis joined QIS Equity Alpha in 2009 in equity research, where he was responsible for developing global stock selection models. Dennis joined Goldman Sachs in 2005, was named managing director in 2015 and was named partner in 2024.
Dennis earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College in 2001 and a master's degree in Finance from Princeton University in 2009.
Takashi Suwabe

Takashi is a senior portfolio manager and head of equity research for the Equity Alpha business in the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as a member of the Japan Portfolio Strategy Group in Global Investment Research and transferred to QIS in 2009 as a senior equity researcher. Takashi was named managing director in 2012.
Prior to joining the firm, Takashi worked at Nomura Securities and Nomura Research Institute.
Takashi is an editor of Gendai Finance, published by Nippon Finance Association and MPT Forum. He is a former member of the Examination Committee of the Security Analysts Association of Japan.
Takashi earned a BS in Physics from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1995 and a PhD from The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Japan, in 2011.
Sharanya Srinivasan
