George began his career at Davenport in 1997, following his graduation from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Finance. George has been with Davenport for his entire professional career, starting as an analyst in the sell-side research department. In addition to his work as a portfolio manager, George is the Chairman of Davenport’s Investment Policy Committee. George is a Certified Financial Analyst Charter Holder.

Chris Pearson, CFA, Senior Vice President: Chris Pearson is a Co-Manager of Davenport’s Small Cap Focus Fund. Chris began his career at Davenport in 2006, following his graduation from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance. Chris has been with Davenport for his entire professional career, starting as an analyst in the sell-side research department. Chris serves on the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and is a Certified Financial Analyst Charter Holder.
