George Smith III, CFA, Managing Director: George Smith is a Co-Manager of Davenport’s Small Cap Focus Fund. George began his career at Davenport in 1997, following his graduation from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Finance. George has been with Davenport for his entire professional career, starting as an analyst in the sell-side research department. In addition to his work as a portfolio manager, George is the Chairman of Davenport’s Investment Policy Committee. George is a Certified Financial Analyst Charter Holder.

Chris Pearson, CFA, Senior Vice President: Chris Pearson is a Co-Manager of Davenport’s Small Cap Focus Fund. Chris began his career at Davenport in 2006, following his graduation from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance. Chris has been with Davenport for his entire professional career, starting as an analyst in the sell-side research department. Chris serves on the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and is a Certified Financial Analyst Charter Holder.

Jeff Omohundro, CFA, Senior Vice President: Jeff Omohundro has been with Davenport since 2012, following his tenure as Managing Director Equity Research Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. Jeff has both a B.A. and an MBA from the University of Virginia. In addition to his work as a Portfolio Manager, Jeff is the Director of Equity Research and a member of the IPC. Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
