Mr. Miller is Co-Portfolio Manager of the Scout Small Cap Equity strategy, including the Scout Small Cap Fund. Prior to joining the investment management team in 2013, he provided fundamental research in the industrials and materials sectors as a senior investment analyst on the firm’s Domestic Research Team. Before joining the firm in 2012, Mr. Miller served as senior investment analyst for American Century Investments, providing equity research coverage of the energy, industrials, and materials sectors. In addition, Mr. Miller provided generalist coverage as needed for the consumer discretionary, consumer staples, information technology, and health care sectors. Previous employers include Insight Capital Research & Management, C.E. Unterberg Towbin, and Banc of America Securities. He has 19 years of financial industry experience. Mr. Miller earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Kansas City, as well as the CFA Institute.
