As Co-Chief Executive Officer, Steve shares overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the organization. As Chief Investment Officer, he oversees Boston Trust Walden’s investment strategies. He serves on the boards of Boston Trust Walden N.A. and Boston Trust Walden Corporation. Steve is a member of the Multi-Asset, Large Cap Core, Mid Cap, and Fixed Income portfolio management teams. He also manages portfolios for institutional and private wealth clients. He serves on the Investment, Investment Policy, Fixed Income, Portfolio Strategy, and Active Ownership Committees. Steve began his career in 1988 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 1996. He earned a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from Boston University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.

Richard is the Director of Equity Investing and serves on the boards of Boston Trust Walden N.A. and Boston Trust Walden Corporation. He is the lead portfolio manager of the Small and SMID Cap equity strategies and a member of the Mid Cap equity portfolio management team. He conducts securities research across sectors and contributes to initiatives that support the organization’s quantitative tools and methodologies. He is a member of the Senior Management Committee and Investment Committee. Richard began his career in 1997 and joined Boston Trust Walden in 2013. Previously, he worked at BlackRock, J.L. Kaplan Associates, Village Ventures, and Wellington Management. He earned an MBA from Dartmouth College, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from Williams College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.
