Mike Mufson, CFA is Co-Founder, CIO and Portfolio Manager. He co-founded Redwood Investments in 2004 and has 36 years of investment experience. He serves as Co-CIO and Portfolio Manager/Analyst on the Redwood investment team. Previously, Michael was Managing Director and Director of Specialty Growth Equity at Putnam Investments where he managed several funds including the Putnam OTC & Emerging Growth Portfolio and TH Lee Putnam Emerging Opportunities Portfolio. Mike received his M.B.A. from Emory University and his B.A. from Vanderbilt University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Ezra Samet, CFA is Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst on the Redwood investment team and has 18 years of experience. He started his career at Redwood as a Trader and Investment Associate and was promoted to Research Analyst and then Portfolio Manager, where he launched the International Developed Markets, International Small Cap and Emerging Markets strategies. Previously, Ezra worked as an Associate at Rochester Management Corp., a commercial real estate firm. Ezra received a B.A. in Philosophy from Columbia University and is a CFA charterholder.

Don Smith, CFA is Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst on the Redwood investment team and has 25 years of experience. Prior to joining Redwood, Donald was the CIO of Global Emerging Markets at BNP Paribas Asset Management. Before BNP, Donald was Turner Investment’s lead Portfolio Manager on the growth-oriented Emerging Markets Equity Portfolio, a Portfolio Manager on their Global and International Growth Portfolio and was Co-Lead Manager on their Resource and Infrastructure Long/Short Fund. Donald received his M.B.A. from MIT and his B.A. from Syracuse University.
